ABOUT EL KARATE MARTIAL ARTS PROGRAM
Founded in 1994 by Grand Master Beaufort Sloan El, our program is dedicated to empowering the residents of Camden—especially its youth—through self-defense, self-discipline, and community upliftment. Inspired by Ancient Moorish Martial Arts, we instill principles of strength, respect, and unity, equipping individuals with the skills to protect themselves physically, mentally, and spiritually.
Grand Master Chris Edwards El continues this vision, ensuring that the next generation benefits from the transformative power of martial arts and self-discipline. Our program is more than just training—it is a movement for personal and communal growth, fostering resilience and leadership in the heart of Camden.
